Blood Donation Centers

The Advocate ran the following story: Beijing Man Sues Red Cross Blood Center

Blood donation centers should already be testing blood before it is used. In the United States, it is required that no blood be used without first being tested. There is much controversy over allowing- or disallowing- blood donation by gay/bi men, those who have sex with gay/bi men and those with multiple partners, regardless of whether they practice safer sex. Should individuals who test regularly, use protection, and are not IV drug users be allowed to give blood?

What do YOU think?
